Actual Conversation Between Duke and I -OR- Homophones Cause Confusion

Duke: I need to get a pair of gaiters.

Me: Gators? What for?

Duke: Hunting.

Me: What? Why do you need gators for hunting?

Duke: They just make it easier.

Me: ... So... is that like hunting gators instead of hunting dogs or something??

Duke: ... What? No. They go over your pants! *laughing*

Me: Oh. GAITERS. Like G-A-I-T-E-R-S not GATORS G-A-T-O-R-S.

Hysterical laughter ensues. :)

ROFLOL! That sounds exactly like something Adam & I would be talking about. *sigh*

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving!

Irony would be Duke wearing gaiters to hunt gators. ;)

Here is the recipe: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Buttery-Soft-Pretzels/Detail.aspx

Do the yeast stuff, in a separate bowl, then dump the yeast into the kitchenaid bowl after you put the dry ingredients in it. Mix it on speed 2 until it is smooth and the dough is in a ball and has cleaned all the flour off the sides of the bowl, if that makes sense. Then, follow the recipe the rest of the way. SO good!

I wish you lived closer, I would totally love to share the ready made kind with you. :D

Aren't Kitchenaid's awesome? There is a bit of a learning curve, I've noticed, but once you figure it out it in the coolest machine ever!
